After an early career as a psychology faculty member in higher education, Rita relocated to Zurich, Switzerland to work throughout Europe as an international management coach. Seeking greater life balance, she and her Scottish husband, Stephen Russell, a Chartered Accountant, left the corporate world to study yoga in Cairns, Australia, later teaching in the US and providing wellness/career coaching to private clients. In an effort to integrate greater creativity, Rita has published her first novel with a second on the way, while she and Stephen together pursue an intense interest in photography and travel.
